2026 Montage Ski Patrol Elections

There are Three (3) Open Positions for election this year 

Available Positions:   
a.    TRUSTEE - Three (2) positions each a full three (3) year term.
Seats currently held by:

1. John Foster - John has served one (1) 3 year term and is eligible to run again
2.  JR Refice - JR has served two (2) consecutive terms and cannot run again (By Laws Article VI, Section 1; D; c) 

 Qualifications:  (By-Laws  Article VI, Section 1, B. c.)

“Any member of Patrol is eligible to run for the position of Trustee provided that:  They have completed three (3) Consecutive years, all in good standing, prior to the date of the election for which they have declared their candidacy.  The candidate year shall be counted as a service year for the requirement of this position.”

b. Assistant Patrol Representative - One (3) Three year term.
Seat is currently held by Emilie Robertson Gebert, currently serving a one (1) year term to fill the unexpired term of Bob Fidiam

Qualifications:  (By-Laws  Article VI, Section 1, B. C.)
“Any member of Patrol is eligible to run for the position of Trustee provided that:  They have completed three (3) Consecutive years, all in good standing, prior to the date of the election for which they have declared their candidacy.  The candidate year shall be counted as a service year for the requirement of this position.”
(To run in this year’s election for the office of Trustee, you would have to be a member of Patrol since season 2022/2023 or earlier.

"Any member of the Patrol is eligible to run for the position of Assistant Patrol Representative provided that:
i. They have completed five (5) years, all in good standing, prior to the date of the election for which they have declared their candidacy. Three (3) service years of this requirement must be consecutive, with no break in service, prior to the date of the election for which they have declared their candidacy. The candidate year shall be counted as a service year for the requirement of this provision.
ii. They must have served in the office of Patrol Representative or Trustee for at least one (1) service year."
 

 Anyone wishing to declare their candidacy, must notify the Secretary, Brian Bannon (brianbannon@me.com),  in writing (e-mail acceptable) no later than Thursday, February 26, 2026, 11:59 p.m. EST 

The election committee has determined that the 2026 election format to be “ON-LINE  Electronic Voting”.  Our Election Provider is ElectionBuddy.  Read more about their Security Features at https://electionbuddy.com/  

 Official election date to be held on Saturday March 07, 2026 and March 08, 2026.  Polling web-site to open for voting, Monday, March 02, 2026, 10:00 a.m. EST Polling web-site to close, Sunday, March 08, 2026, 3:00 p.m. EST We will be sending out Detailed instructions on how to vote after the close of Nominations.
